For 12 pcs
5 tbsps butter
1/4 cup / 60 ml hot water
1/4 tsp salt
250 ml milk
1- Mix thoroughly the butter, water & salt in a mixing bowl.
2-Add in sifted flour & mix well. Put a side for 30 minutes.
3-Beat eggs thoroughly & add in milk & sugar. Briefly beat again. Set aside.
4-With lightly-floured hands, roll the dough into 3mm thickness. Divide into 12 pcs & flatten till the diameter of each pc is 6cm.
5- Lightly grease 12 round pie plates. Place on each plate a piece of dough & press dough againts the sides and bottom of the plate.
6- Pour in the beaten egg mixture.
7- Bake in a moderate oven at 200'C / 400'F / mark 6 till custard is set, about 10-15 minutes.
8- Separate the pies from the plate and let stand to cool.
